Why you should take the course

A journalist’s job is to get to the truth, or at least the point. With maps a journalist can help unlock geographic data from spreadsheets, displaying them in easy to interpret visualizations. Maps helps to sum up stories as they unfold at different zoom levels, and brings a bird’s eye view to the story. 360 Journalism attempts to take viewers to exotic, dangerous or newsworthy locations that viewers simply couldn’t reach. This immersive medium of storytelling that allow the viewer a potential to look everywhere in 360, is exciting and terrifying at the same time.
